James Randi - A former professional magician, he is one of the major figures in the international skeptics community, a founder of the Committee for Scientific Investigation of Claims of the Paranormal - now known as the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry - and president of the James Randi Educational Foundation, headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
