Brian Dunning is the host of the podcast Skeptoid: Critical Analysis of Pop Phenomena (skeptoid.com), applying critical thinking to pseudoscientific subjects promoted by the mass media. He is the author of three books based on the podcast: Skeptoid 1, 2, and 3, and creator of the free 40-minute video Here Be Dragons, an introduction to critical thinking used in schools throughout the US. He is also the host and executive producer of the upcoming PBS television series The Edge, and beginning in 2010 is the host of the inFact web video series. A Silicon Valley computer scientist by trade, Brian now uses new media to promote critical thinking. He has appeared on numerous radio shows and television documentaries.
About Dragon*Con
Dragon*Con is held on Labor Day each year in Downtown Atlanta, in 2010 it will be held September 3rd - September 6th. The convention uses up convention space at five of the largest hotels in the Southeast; The Atlanta Westin, Hyatt, Marriott Marquis, Downtown Hilton, and Sheraton.
Most of our Skeptrack events will be held on the 2nd Floor of the Atlanta Downtown Hilton near the skywalk entrance to the Marriott.
